eLearning is learning and teaching that is facilitated by, or supported through, the smart use of information and communication technology ~ Enabling the 21st Century Learner

Haere mai - Welcome The Te Apiti ICT Cluster is a collaborative group of 6 schools aiming to further develop learning, teaching and ICT skills in our teachers and students. The schools are all in the Manawatu, New Zealand. The schools are: Russell Street, Ashhurst, Halcombe, North Street, Riverdale and Roslyn.

One part of the Te Apiti ICT Cluster programme is ‘eStudent Workshops’. Two ICT-capable students from each cluster school, accompanied by a teacher, will share exciting new ICT learning experiences together. The children will be using digital cameras, laptops, various software programs and the Internet. The aim of these morning sessions is to develop further skills and to explore ways ICTs can be used to learn. After the workshops the new ideas will be shared by the eStudents in their own school and on this wiki. Workshops will be held during a school morning, and at each cluster school during the year, the workshops will be organised and guided by the Te Apiti Cluster facilitator, Lyn Ross (lynrossnz@gmail.com)
